Leadership development for the job you actually have

Being a leader in a nonprofit is often described as meaningful, inspiring, even aspirational.

What’s less visible is the day-to-day reality: constant urgency, scarce resources, funder and board pressures, and being asked to do more with less, again and again.

You’re not just executing a vision for systemic change. You’re moving mountains while holding people, teams, and systems together—often with duct tape, an overtaxed nervous system, and sheer will.

I work with director-level and executive women leaders who want to lead effectively, without sacrificing themselves on the altar of impact.

Leadership development for the job you actually have

You’re driving change with limited resources, competing demands, and constant pressure to hold things together—while being expected to deliver results, care for people, and act in line with your values.

I work with director-level and executive women leaders who want to lead effectively in roles that ask a lot of them—so their fire fuels impact instead of burning them out.

If you want to:

  • Lead with steady authority and confidence, even in high-pressure, politically complex situations

  • Make decisions more easily without the spiral of second-guessing, guilt, or over-explaining

  • Feel resourced and grounded in your role, instead of constantly pushing through urgency and scarcity

  • Lead in a way that reflects your values around trust, shared power, and integrity—not just survival

  • Sustain your energy, clarity, and creativity so you can stay lit up for the long run

You're in the right place.

"Caitlin helped me trust myself and my abilities more. She helped me find my voice – through our coaching I found the courage to speak my truth about my work in the world.

I will absolutely work with Caitlin again, and recommend her wholeheartedly."

- Colleen

“I was going through a transition at work and feeling overwhelmed because I was doing the job of three people. I was having panic attacks...

Caitlin helped me identify resources I didn’t know I had. She empowered me to unravel what I was frustrated with and define the problem, not just the symptoms I was facing."

- Kaylan

Hi, I'm Caitlin.

I’m a leadership + executive coach with 20+ years' experience inside fast-growing companies and startups,

where I played an active role in building systems, strategy, and teams across HR, operations, product, brand, marketing, and organizational design. I’ve advised C-level executives in orgs ranging from six people to over 2,000, supporting leaders through growth, complexity, and high-stakes decision-making.

My work is deeply grounded in somatic coaching, which means I work at the level where leadership actually lives: in the body, in relationships, and in how pressure impacts performance and capacity.

I come from working-class roots, which shaped how I understand power: how it’s held, how it’s distributed, and how changing systemic injustice often demands self-sacrifice in the name of impact. I hustled through years of burnout in high-stakes environments, and lived to tell the tale. I now know there’s another way.

I work with women leaders in nonprofits because too many are expected to exhaust themselves to prove their commitment.

I believe high-responsibility roles can be both effective and life-giving—and that you shouldn’t have to light yourself on fire to keep others warm.

I help women lead more effectively at the intersection of power, capacity, and real org dynamics.

Clients work with me to:

  • Navigate power, relationships, and boundaries more skillfully with staff, boards, and funders

  • Reduce internal pressure so presence, steadiness, and clear authority come online under stress

  • Make confident decisions with less second-guessing, guilt, and fatigue

  • Embody a leadership style aligned with their values—and lead in ways that build shared trust and power

  • Make space for strategy, vision, and creativity amid constant demands

  • Improve + sustain effectiveness without burning out

This isn’t about adding more tools to an already full toolbox. This is practical, relationally intelligent leadership coaching that’s rooted in your specific context, so you can stay resourced, clear, and engaged in work that deeply matters for the long run. (AND enjoy your life.)

"I can't recommend Caitlin enough"

Working with Caitlin was truly transformative. In a single session, she helped me move through doubts that had been limiting my confidence and created clarity I hadn’t been able to access on my own. The impact was immediate: I left feeling energized and brought new exercises straight into my work. Our session was a genuine catalyst. I now feel far more connected to my strengths and how I want to show up professionally. I can’t recommend her enough to anyone looking for meaningful support and real forward movement.
